GROWING
UP
Finding my way.
Before I knew who I was,
I was busy becoming him.
Childhood doesn't disappear. Pieces of it stay with us — the houses, the people, the music, the fears, the obsessions and the moments we didn't realize we'd remember forever.
This exhibit is a collection of those pieces.
A moment from the beginning of the story.
The world seemed
much bigger then.
Put your story here. This is where you can talk about your earliest memories, where you lived, your family, school, neighbourhood and what life felt like at the time.
Don't try to document every year. Pick the memories that actually explain something about the person you eventually became.
Fragments of Childhood
Put a short memory here.
A person, place or moment you still remember.
The places that once felt like the whole world.
We don't remember childhood as a timeline. We remember it in flashes.
Trying to figure out
where I belonged.
This could become the section about your school years, friendships, awkward phases, interests and the first signs of the person you were becoming.
This is also where the exhibit can become more personal. What did young Craig want? What frightened him? What did he imagine his life would eventually look like?

MUSEUM OF ME · PERSONAL COLLECTION
The soundtrack
of growing up.
Some memories aren't attached to places. They're attached to sounds.
THE SONG
Add a song that instantly takes you back.
THE SHOW
Add the television show you couldn't miss.
THE OBSESSION
The toy, hobby, game or thing you were obsessed with.
THE DREAM
What did you think you'd become when you grew up?
I grew up.
Some parts of me didn't.
The places changed. The people changed. But some version of that kid came along for everything that followed.
